DENTAL CLINIC
The dental clinic is a partnership between Central Carolina Health Network (CCHN), Access Dental Care (ADC), and RCID.
-
Central Carolina Health Network or CCHN provides the funding that supports the clinic and schedules appointments.
-
Access Dental Care staffs the dental clinic with dentists and hygienists. ADC is a mobile dental clinic, so all staff and equipment are brought to RCID and set up for each clinic day.
-
RCID provides the space for the dental clinic and refers patients for dental care.
-
The Dental Clinic is offered 4 times each month
SERVICES

Access Dental Care provides preventative care like cleanings and x-rays, but also provides restorative care and treatment like filling cavities, tooth removal, and making dentures. If work is required that ADC cannot complete, they will make a referral to another provider
OUT OF POCKET COSTS?
If a patient has dental insurance or Medicaid, their insurance will be billed, and they will be responsible for any costs that insurance does not cover. If this is the case, they will receive a bill directly from Access Dental Care. Ryan White and other uninsured patients’ costs are covered by CCHN; this is possible through the generous support of Cone Health Foundation
HOW TO GET AN APPOINTMENT
Patients should complete a referral form and return it to CCHN by fax 336-292-6427 or email it to info@cchn4.org. If a patient is working with Triad Health Project for case management, they can ask their case manager to help them complete and send a referral form. After a referral form is received, patients are added to the wait list and contacted when an appointment time is available. If patients want to update their contact information, they should call CCHN at 336-292-0665.
